BBS Terefayina and CBS FM sports presenter Peace Diane Bagala, who hosts the Ekisaawe show, welcomed a beautiful baby girl, marking a new chapter in her life as a mother.
The exciting news was confirmed by BBS Terefayina, which congratulated its presenter on the arrival of her first child and revealed that both mother and baby were in good health.
“Mwebale kusaba… Muweereza munnaffe aweereza Ekisaawe, @peaceBagala, akubyewo Kasukaali. Maama n’omwana bombi bali mu mbeera nnungi. Yoogayoga nnyo munnaffe,” BBS Terefayina posted.

Before the media house made the announcement, Bagala had taken to X, formerly Twitter, to share photos showing off her baby bump, using football language to humorously reveal that she was taking a break from the game.
“Injured, out for a year,” she captioned the photos, drawing a playful comparison between pregnancy and an injury that would keep a footballer out of action for an extended period.
In another lighthearted remark, Bagala jokingly blamed fellow sports presenter David Lumansi, whom she described as the centre referee in the game, for allowing play to continue despite her serious injury and even after the intervention of the Video Assistant Referee (VAR).
“INJURED OUT FOR A YEAR. In this game, @DavidLumansi was the centre ref. I got seriously injured, but he signalled play on even at the intervention of the VAR, bwentyo nga bantegula mu Fergie time. Ref enjoyed the foul. Y’all so stingy, but today u gon share by 4c,” she wrote.
Her humorous post offered fans a glimpse into her playful personality, as she used football terminology familiar to her sports audience to share the exciting news.
Congratulations to Peace Diane Bagala on the arrival of her baby girl and the beginning of her motherhood journey!
