Cristiano Ronaldo Finally Unveiled As Al Nassr Player

Cristiano Ronaldo was finally unveiled as an Al Nassr player on Tuesday. The 37-year-old Portuguese Superstar was well received by a mammoth crowd of over 25, 000 empathetic fans at the Mrsool Park in Riyadh.

The events that happened before the unveiling took centre stage. Al Nasser Store is said to have run short of Cristiano Ronaldo CR7 jerseys. Fans had rushed to get themselves the famous prestigious jersey, this time not in any other team’s colour but their own team’s colour.

The reception at the Airport when the Five-time Balloon d’Or winner jetted into Saudi Arabia all showed how the fans from that part of the world regard Ronaldo despite his tumultuous past three or so months.

It shall be remembered that the former Real Madrid and Juventus Striker left Manchester United after an explosive interview. In the interview, he voiced his feelings about not being wanted at Old Trafford and how he was not respected. This ultimately led to a mutual termination of his contract.

As a result, the free agent Cristiano Ronaldo made the unprecedented decision to join the Saudi Arabian club Al Nassr. And the fans, club and Arabian side did show how badly they needed and respected Ronaldo.

Based on FIFA 23 rating, the new Al Nassr number 7 truly is the Arabian prince. Ronaldo boosts the highest FIFA rating in the Saudi Pro League at 88, followed by Salem Al Daswari at 76.

Contrary to the belief that Ronaldo joined Al Nassr as a result of lacking other options, options of offers from elite European clubs playing the Champions League, he says “ I gave my word to Al Nassr despite many other offers .”

“ I had many opportunities in Europe, in Brazil, in Australia, in the US and even in Portugal many clubs tried to sign me, but I gave my word to this club .”
