The past couple of days have had dancehall singer Vyper Ranking and Cosign Yenze taking on each other in a heated exchange of words on Twitter.
The two were seen throwing shade at each other’s music catalog as each underlooked the other with Cosign Yenze saying Vyper Ranking depends on collaborations to stay relevant in the music business.
The genesis of their beef is said to have stemmed from Vyper Ranking’s statement he posted on his online platforms when he claimed that apart from his duet “Take It Slow” featuring Winnie Nwagi, then A Pass’ new song and Josh Baraka’s “NANA” are the only hit songs of 2023 but the rest is rubbish raised the eyebrows of Cosign.
Cosign Yenze was quick to reply to him saying he is among the people that sing rubbish too because he doesn’t have a hit single song. All he has are collaborations with other artists.

While performing at NBS After5 show last evening, he was asked to comment on Cosign’s accusations about his music, he noted how he is not here to give struggling artists a platform to rise on his name.
“I don’t want to comment about Cosign Yenze because he is an upcoming artiste who needs attention. He wants to use me to promote him but I am not ready. Let him keep singing his rubbish we shall see where it will put him,” Vyper Ranking said.
