The EPL ( English Premier League ) is one of the most competitive leagues in the world. There is not one single club that can be said to be the all-powerful challenger like it is in other leagues. Despite winning a record 20 EPL trophies, Manchester United is making a decade without winning it again.

It should be remembered that Sir Alex Ferguson retired in 2013 after winning the EPL. It seems the great Scot didn’t leave behind his success manual on how to win the EPL. The Red Devils have experienced turbulent times ever since then.

To make it worse ever since then, their “ noisy neighbors” and arch-rivals Manchester City have won the EPL a record 5 times. Chelsea won it twice. Leicester city surprisingly won the EPL in the 2015/16 season. Liverpool too ended their EPL Trophy drought by winning it during the COVID-19-interrupted 2019/20 season.

Arsenal, who are currently topping the EPL table with 7 points last won the trophy in the 2003/04 season. Chelsea last won it in the 2016/17 campaign.
