It has been a fantastic week for Burna Boy, days after being confirmed among artists to perform in America’s biggest Music Festival, Coachella, he has been nominated for the BRIT Awards 2023. Fellow countryman, YBNL Nation artist Fireboy DML, joins Burna Boy.

The good news about the nominations was received on Thursday, January 12, 2023. The BRIT Awards are expected to be held in February beginning at 23:00 on 11 February and ending at 01:00 on 12 February 2023.

Burna Boy is nominated in the category: of International Artist of the Year. He faces tough competition from the industry’s heavy weight s in form of Beyonce, Kendrick Lamar, Lizzzo, and Taylor Swift. We wish Burna all the best.

On the other hand, Firboy DML appears courtesy of his remix with Ed Sheeran for the song “ Peru “. The duo is nominated in the “ International Song of the Year” category.
