Uganda Cranes Coach Milutin Sredojevic Names Final Squad For CHAN 2022

Micho has named his final squad for the Africa Nations Championships (CHAN) which is slated to get underway this weekend, in Algeria

Uganda Cranes head coach Milutin Sredojevic a.k.a Micho has named his final squad for the Africa Nations Championships (CHAN) which is slated to get underway this weekend, in Algeria.

Micho named the final squad of 23 players with Sentamu Siraje and Najib Yiga dropping them at the last minute. The two players are reportedly said to have been dropped due to not being physically fit for the tournament.

Lately, Sentamu has been reportedly said to be battling a strange illness.

From Tunisia, the team will connect to Annaba, Algeria on Wednesday where Uganda is pooled in Group B alongside the Democratic Republic of Congo, Senegal, and Ivory Coast.

Uganda Cranes has featured at CHAN on five occasions namely; 2011, 2014, 2016, 2018, and 2020.
