Fans of Wonder Woman all over the World have one question on their minds: Will Wonder Woman 3 be released? Well, this question arises from the fact that there have been rumors. Rumors suggest that the sequel to the successful Wonder Woman 1984 may not come to light.
It shall be remembered that Wonder Woman 1984 broke records and exceeded expectations. By 2020, the movie had the best box office numbers since the COVID-19 pandemic. This prompted DC Comics and Warner Bros to announce the release of Wonder Woman 3.

The news of Wonder Woman 3 not being released first surfaced around December 9. This brought uneasiness among the expectant fans who have been waiting for the sequel.
James Gunn, who is a Co-Chairperson and CEO of DC Studios had this to say in response to the sad news :
“ Some of it is true, some of it is half-true, some of it is not true, and some of it we haven’t decided yet whether it’s true or not “ Gunn responded.
Director Patty Jenkins who directed the first two Wonder Woman movies says there is “ nothing “ she could do to “ move anything forward at this time.”
However, it’s believed that the massive restructuring taking place at Warner Bros after the company merged with Discovery could be the main issue. There is a new group of leadership spearhead by James Gunn and Peter Safran who are coming up with new ideas. These ideas are expected to be presented to the CEO of Warner Bros.Discovery.It is then that it will be confirmed whether or not Wonder Woman 3 will be released.
