American singer, songwriter, pianist, and record producer John Roger Stephens a.k.a John Legend, and his wife Chrissy Teigen have officially expanded their family.
The couple welcomed their new bundle of joy on Jan. 13th. The Grammy winner announced the arrival of their new baby during a private concert just hours after his baby’s arrival.
The 43-year-old John Legend told the audience the baby was born “this morning” and called it a “blessed day.”
John Legend added that while he “didn’t get a lot of sleep” he “feels energized” after spending “a lot of time” at the hospital.
Chrissy Teigen who shares children Luna, 6, and son Miles, 4, with John—announced the news that she was expecting another baby in an emotional Instagram post back in August.
The couple’s new baby is their third child together since Chrissy suffered a pregnancy loss of their son Jack, two years back.
In September, Teigen, 37, said that Luna and Miles were “very excited” about their family’s new addition and that they learned about her pregnancy early on.
