Former talent manager and dancer Ibra Buwembo has broken silence on his messy fallout with young rapper Ring Rapper, and his latest revelations have reopened the wounds from their bitter split.
Buwembo claims Ring Rapper’s family turned against him, accusing him of allegedly living off the rapper’s money and using the young artiste’s earnings to build his own life.
The former manager has fiercely denied the allegations, insisting he worked hard for everything he owns and revealing that his life has actually improved dramatically since their partnership ended.

In a striking comparison, Buwembo claims he is now “50 times better” than he was during the period he was managing Ring Rapper.
“His family started spreading rumours that I was surviving on their child. They claimed that all my personal achievements were because of their child. They claimed that he was the one feeding me. But for the one year we have been separated, I have achieved 50 times more than I had,” he said.
Buwembo says he poured almost everything into Ring Rapper’s career because he genuinely wanted to see the youngster reach the top.
He also appeared to hit back at the narrative that he contributed nothing to the rapper’s success.
“I had invested in him all my time and everything because I wanted him to be at the top. I was so disappointed to see him say whatever he said in the news. Maybe he saw that I was not adding anything onto him, but if we are to calculate what I had invested in him, I had a say in his career,” he added.
The explosive fallout became public last year when Ring Rapper accused Buwembo of taking control of their old digital accounts and deleting music they had uploaded on streaming platforms.
With the rapper claiming he could no longer access the accounts, he was forced to start over and build new platforms from scratch.
Ring Rapper was reportedly particularly hurt by the situation because he and Buwembo had worked together for about six years, during which they developed what he described as an unbreakable father-son bond.
For Ring Rapper, it was more than just a manager-and-artiste relationship.
But for Buwembo, the story is clearly far more complicated.
