Media personality and entrepreneur Sheila Gashumba, popularly known as Lil Stunner, has been unveiled as one of the key figures at the Bayimba Festival of the Arts 2026.
Sheila will take part in the festival’s Music Policy session, where she is expected to engage artists, creatives, and industry stakeholders in conversations about the regulations, opportunities, and challenges shaping Uganda’s music industry.
The session will be held under the CREATE initiative, a program aimed at strengthening skills and promoting financial inclusion among young women in Uganda’s creative economy.
Organisers say the discussion will provide emerging artists, managers, and other creative professionals with insights into the business and policy side of the music industry.
The Bayimba Festival of the Arts 2026 is scheduled to take place from August 28 to 30, 2026, at Lunkulu Island in Buikwe District, Mukono.
The three-day event will feature performances from various Ugandan and international artists, alongside creative discussions and cultural showcases.
Festival passes are available at UGX 30,000 for early bird tickets and UGX 50,000 at the gate, with tickets accessible through Quicket.
