Uganda’s top female Artist Sheebah Karungi made history in Uganda following her 2 days of sold-out concerts at Kampala Serena Hotel over the weekend.
Accompanied by a number of artists such as; Aziz Azion, Pia Pounds, Winnie Nwagi, Spice Diana, Ann Kansime, Mudra, Lillian Mbabazi, Ykee Benda, King Saha, Chance Nalubega, Cristo Panda, Levixone, Lydia Jazmine, Sama Sojah, Chosen Blood and many more, both Sheebah’s concerts which happened on Friday and Saturday filled to full capacity leaving revelers astonished.
Sheebah Karungi Samalie is a well-known musician in Uganda. She is an actress and dancer who made her acting debut in the film Queen of Katwe as Shakira. The “Nkansalewo Ngabukyalaba” singer released her first song, “Kunyenyenza,” produced by Washington and written by Cindy after leaving Obsessions, a dance crew she joined in 2006. She then released “another song, “Bulikyenkola,” featuring Ks Alpha, Baliwa ft. Coco Finger, and Automatic, which was written by Sizza Man. Until she released Ice Cream, a blockbuster song that gave her music career the official start it needed with widespread airing across practically all Ugandan media outlets and beyond.

She started going viral and she then recorded another hit song called “Twesana” which got numerous air plays too. Sheebah’s musical journey has never remained the same since then but has kept on improving year after another.
This has been her first concert ever since she parted ways with her former manager Jeff Kiwanuka of Team No Sleep “TSN,” her last concerts that were organized under the old Management included “Nkwatako Concert” 2016 and “Omwoyo Concert” 2018 before she went solo.

Sheebah’s concert organized by Kt Events and Fenon Events clearly describes how the singer with no doubt deserves the “Queen” title. It is worth her 12 years of journey in the musical business. She pulled out a very stunning performance accompanied by a group of dancers and backup singers from Maestro Band.
Her Concert was Produced by Aziz Azion “a musical Legend and Vocalist Uganda are blessed with,” Indeed it was such an amazing event. The 2 days Event was attended by elites in the Entertainment sector such as Halimah Namakula, Raga Dee, Olivia Nakakande, Judith Heard, Fille, Angella Summer Namubiru, among others.

Sheebah Karungi went ahead during the middle of her energetic performance and she introduced her family to the audience, this spiced up the event. She introduced her entire family on both days of the concerts. Her Mother Miss Kabazungu got a chance to talk and thanked the fans for loving her daughter.

She couldn’t control the love she has for her mother and her entire family. They are a family of 5 children, Kaddu (her elder brother), Maama Tofah (Elder sister), Buwembo (Elder Brother), Jax (Elder sister), Ismah, and Sheebah being the last born.
