Musician Lyto Boss, real name Derrick Katongole, and his longtime lover Cissy Nanyonga have taken a major step in their relationship after officially cementing their union with a colourful introduction ceremony.
The ceremony, held today, August 19, 2026, in Seguku Katale, brought together the couple’s close friends, relatives and well-wishers to celebrate the significant milestone.
Lyto Boss is best known for his romantic music, with his love songs earning him a loyal fan base and establishing him as one of the notable figures in Uganda’s music industry.
Although the singer has maintained a relatively private love life over the years, he gave fans a glimpse into his personal journey today as he and Cissy formalised their relationship through the customary ceremony.
The celebration was also attended by several personalities from the music fraternity, including fellow musicians Eddy Yawe and Aziz Azion, who joined family and friends in celebrating the couple.
Their presence highlighted the support and solidarity within Uganda’s music industry as Lyto Boss and Cissy embarked on a new chapter together.
