Performing and recording singer John Blaq caused a dramatic scene after publicly confronting an event organizer over alleged non-payment moments before his performance.
Based on a video clip, the furious “Angella” hitmaker is seen stopping the show to call out the organizer and a woman believed to be his wife, accusing them of trying to block him from performing despite already being on stage.
The singer also made the shocking claim that the pair wanted to assault him, prompting him to warn fans that they should be held responsible if anything happened to him.

“I want everyone here to witness this,” John Blaq told the crowd before pointing at the two individuals.
He went on to blast the promoters for what he described as disrespectful and unprofessional treatment, saying artists sacrifice a lot to entertain fans and deserve to be paid and treated with dignity.
“I’m going to end here because he has told me not to perform. Now this gentleman and woman want to beat me up. If anything happens to me, those two are responsible. I haven’t been paid yet, but they’re treating me in an absurd way. We travel long distances, go through many challenges and survive accidents just to entertain people.”
Despite the tense confrontation, John Blaq insisted he was ready to perform for his fans, saying he did not want to disappoint those who had turned up for the show.
The incident has since sparked debate online, with many fans criticizing event promoters over payment disputes, while others called for both sides to resolve the matter professionally.
