Sanyuka TV lifestyle reporter and host Brian “Makona” Ssemanda is currently admitted to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) after sustaining serious injuries in a tragic car accident last night.
The heartbreaking crash reportedly claimed the lives of two of his colleagues, Badru Kasirye and Isaac Ndamagye, who were also associated with Next Media Services.
According to reports, the trio was involved in the fatal accident while travelling back from Supremacy Lounge in Nankulabye, where they had gone to attend a celebrity TikTok boxing fight between Chicken Chicken and Shawa.
The tragic incident has sent shockwaves through Uganda’s media and entertainment fraternity, with friends, family, colleagues and fans struggling to come to terms with the sudden loss of Kasirye and Ndamagye.
Since news of the accident broke, messages of encouragement and prayers have continued to pour in for Makona, with loved ones and workmates rallying around his family during this difficult and painful moment.
As Makona continues to receive treatment in the ICU, the media and entertainment fraternity remains hopeful for his recovery and is praying that he pulls through the difficult ordeal.
