Ugandan singer Nina Roz has addressed growing speculation that she is romantically involved with comedian Reign, insisting that the two are currently just good friends.
Speaking after Lydia Jazmine’s press conference, Nina Roz laughed off the dating rumours, suggesting that fans may have read more into their friendship than is actually there.
“You have already alleged? Let’s go with that, after all he isn’t a bad man,” Nina Roz joked.
The singer explained that she and Reign share a close friendship and have common political interests, as both are supporters of the National Unity Platform (NUP).
According to Nina Roz, their friendship and public interactions may have contributed to the speculation that they are dating.
However, she maintained that there is currently no romantic relationship between them.
While Nina Roz denied that she and Reign are currently a couple, she did not completely close the door on the possibility of a relationship in the future.
The singer suggested that life could take a different direction, leaving the matter in God’s hands.
“Inshallah, because we might have other plans but Allah also has His other plans. Right now I need a God-fearing man who respects me and supports change.”
For now, Nina Roz and Reign remain friends, but her remarks have certainly given fans plenty to speculate about regarding what the future might hold.
