There was drama in Butalejja over the weekend when singer Kalifah AgaNaga was reportedly stopped from leaving a venue after a disagreement with event organisers and a section of revellers.
Aganaga had been booked to perform at a popular hangout spot in Butalejja but reportedly arrived late after encountering challenges on his way to the venue.
Despite eventually taking the stage and completing his performance, tensions reportedly arose when some revellers and organisers insisted that he extend his set beyond the agreed time.
Aganaga, however, objected to the request, triggering a heated exchange between the singer and the organisers.
In the ensuing chaos, his car number plates were reportedly confiscated as the parties pushed for him to honour the terms of their working agreement.
The standoff was eventually resolved after Aganaga apologised for his late arrival, explaining that the long distance and difficulties encountered on the road had contributed to his delay.
Following the agreement, the organisers returned his number plates, UA 365AZ, allowing him to leave the venue.
Aganaga reportedly drove away in good spirits after the disagreement was brought to an end.
