Ugandan singer King Saha has suspended all performances until the end of the week after falling ill over the weekend.
The Kings Love Entertainment singer was reportedly bedridden alongside his manager, Sam Mukasa, prompting concerns among fans and promoters who had booked him for shows.
In a statement shared on his social media platforms, Saha confirmed that he is currently unwell and said his doctors had advised him to take a break and rest until he regains his strength.
“To all my fans, promoters, and everyone who had me booked for shows this week, I’m sorry for the inconvenience. I’m currently unwell, and my doctors have advised me to rest until I regain my strength,” Saha stated.
He added that he would not return to the stage until he had fully recovered.
Saha also addressed promoters and fans affected by the cancelled performances, saying possible refunds would be handled after he has recovered and confirmed that he is well enough.
“Thank you for your understanding, patience, and prayers during this time,” he added.
The singer’s management has asked fans and promoters for patience as he takes time away from performances to focus on his recovery.
