Family, friends and mourners have gathered at St. Kizito Catholic Church in Namungoona, Kampala, for the Requiem Mass of Ugandan TikTok creator Timothy Kayanja, popularly known as Jayden.
The Mass is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. today, Wednesday, September 23, 2026, as loved ones continue to bid farewell to the 24-year-old content creator.
Jayden died on September 15, 2026, in India, where he had travelled for a bone marrow transplant after years of battling sickle cell disease and later developing aplastic anaemia.
His condition reportedly worsened following the procedure in July, and he was subsequently admitted to the Intensive Care Unit.
Jayden’s body arrived at Entebbe International Airport at around 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 22, where it was received by family members, friends and mourners before being taken to Namungoona.
