21-year-old Patricia Rose Turindamukama, a.k.a Gold Rose, the top suspect in the murder of 22-year-old waitress and content creator Jovia Namuwulya (Jovia 1235) has been remanded to Luzira Prison till September 22, 2026.
She has been remanded after appearing before the City Hall Court in Kampala.
Gold Rose and one other suspect who is still at large are facing charges of murder and aggravated robbery. They are accused of robbing Jovia’s bag, passport, iphone 12 Pro Max, and clothes.
She was not permitted to plead to the charges as the prosecutors deemed her charges as capital offenses that are beyond the magistrate’s jurisdiction.
Prosecutors said investigations are ongoing before the case can proceed further.
