Popular Ugandan digital media platform INNo sOFt UG has reported the arrest of one of its administrators, identified as Malcolm, in a development that has sparked concern among the platform’s massive online following.
According to a post shared by the platform on Saturday night, one of its administrators had been arrested, although no further details were immediately provided.
The account reportedly posted around 11:12pm on August 1, 2026, simply stating that one of its administrators had been arrested and accompanying the message with a photograph.
Sources familiar with the development claim that the administrator, reportedly known as Malcolm, was allegedly grabbed and whisked away by authorities.
However, the circumstances surrounding his reported arrest remain unclear.
There is also unverified speculation online that the arrest could be connected to a TikTok post involving musician Kalifah Aganaga, although neither the police nor INNo sOFt UG has officially confirmed this alleged connection.
As of publication, authorities have not issued a detailed statement identifying the administrator, explaining where he was taken, stating the alleged offence or confirming whether any charges have been filed against him.
Following news of the reported arrest, concerned followers have taken to social media demanding that Malcolm be released if he is being held without lawful grounds.

For now, the reported arrest remains a developing story, with many questions still unanswered.
