Lil Pazo, also known as Lil Pazo Lunabe or Yasin Mukasa, brought his Lunabe Festival to Mbarara on September 5, 2026, with a strong crowd turning up at University Inn for the regional music showcase.
The event, promoted as the Lil Pazo Festival/Lunabe Festival, had tickets going for Shs10,000 for general admission and Shs20,000 for VIP. Promotional campaigns in the weeks leading up to the show also highlighted performances from artists including Latinum.
Post-event reports described the show as well attended, with fans from Mbarara and surrounding areas turning up to support the singer. Lil Pazo later thanked his Ankole supporters for showing him love.
The Mbarara concert further reflects Lil Pazo’s strategy of taking his music beyond Kampala and concentrating on local and regional audiences. The singer has previously argued that his grassroots popularity in some parts of Uganda rivals or surpasses that of artists with greater international visibility.
His previous regional shows, including the 2024 Nkudi Festival at Aero Beach in Entebbe, have also attracted sizeable crowds, reinforcing his focus on building a strong connection with fans outside Kampala.
