Musician Mansur Ssemanda, popularly known as King Saha, has reconciled with former presidential candidate Mubarak Munyagwa after months of public disagreement.
The two public figures had earlier exchanged harsh words after King Saha criticised Munyagwa’s decision to contest for Uganda’s presidency, accusing him of turning politics into comedy.
At the time, the singer claimed that Munyagwa’s presidential bid could divide opposition support that he believed should have gone to National Unity Platform (NUP) leader Bobi Wine.
However, the pair have now put their differences aside following what they described as a gentleman’s agreement.
As a sign of renewed friendship, King Saha invited Munyagwa to attend his upcoming concert, an invitation the former presidential candidate accepted.
Munyagwa also pledged to support the event by purchasing a VIP table for King Saha’s concert scheduled for August 14 at Lugogo Cricket Oval.
The reconciliation has attracted positive reactions from fans, with many welcoming the move and hoping the two personalities maintain their renewed friendship.
