The inaugural edition of the Miss Universe Uganda beauty pageant came to a glamorous conclusion on Saturday night at the Imperial Royale Hotel in Kampala.
Michelle Daka emerged victorious after outshining 14 other contestants to be crowned the first-ever Miss Universe Uganda.
She walked away with the coveted crown, a cash prize of Shs24 million, and a brand-new car.

Fan favourite Kimberly Jael Aremo finished as the first runner-up, taking home Shs5 million, while Karungi Bridget was named the second runner-up after a closely contested finale.
In addition to finishing as first runner-up, Kimberly Jael Aremo also won the Sports and Wellness award for her outstanding performance throughout the competition.
Aromorach Teopista was crowned Miss Universe Uganda Supermodel 2026.

Michelle Daka, 29, hails from Budaka District in Eastern Uganda and belongs to the Japadhola tribe. She will now represent Uganda at the 75th Miss Universe pageant, which will be held in Puerto Rico.
