Singer Daxx Vibes has addressed the lingering questions surrounding his absence from Vinka’s concert at Lugogo Oval a few weeks ago.
The singer explained that he missed the highly anticipated show because of unexpected family emergencies that required his immediate attention.
Daxx Vibes also dismissed claims that his elder brothers had prevented him from attending the concert.
He argued that if they had opposed his relationship with Vinka professionally, they would have stopped him from working with her on their collaboration ‘Believe’ in the first place.
“No one stopped me from attending Vinka’s concert at Lugogo Oval. If no one stopped me from working on a musical project with her from the beginning, then no one stopped me. My not showing up was based on some emergencies that came up. I was there for the sound testing of the stage that night, but the next day, I fell short and contacted her bosses based on what was making rounds in the media. I wished her the best, and she did it.”
Daxx Vibes further clarified that his absence did not create any bad blood between him and Vinka, maintaining that the matter was handled amicably and no love was lost.
“We harmonized everything, and no love was lost.”
