Jamaican dancehall star Konshens is set to return to Uganda on Friday, December 11, 2026, for the Vibe Republic concert at Lugogo Cricket Oval in Kampala.
The event is being promoted under the theme “Together We Vibe” and aims to celebrate music, culture and Uganda’s hospitality. Talent Africa Group, Explore Uganda and Swangz Avenue are among the brands associated with the event.
Talent Africa Group has launched the first phase of ticket sales, offering music lovers an opportunity to secure entry at promotional prices. The Citizen Pass costs Shs20,000, while the Diplomat Pass goes for Shs80,000. Tickets are available through TAG’s official ticketing platform, with the promotional prices subject to terms and conditions.
According to the organisers, the concert is intended to bring people together while showcasing what Uganda has to offer, including its warmth, food, culture and natural beauty. Additional details about supporting Ugandan performers are expected to be announced.
Konshens, whose real name is Garfield Spence, is one of Jamaica’s recognised dancehall artists. He has built a strong following across Africa, particularly in Uganda, where his music continues to feature in clubs, on radio and at entertainment events.
The singer is known for popular songs including Bruk Off Yuh Back, Gal a Bubble, Pull Up to Mi Bumper and Do Sumn. He has performed in Uganda before, and his return is expected to draw dancehall fans and Kampala’s entertainment crowd as the festive season approaches.
