Ugandan singer Irene Ntale has opened up about the emotional pain of wanting to have a child but struggling to conceive, revealing the personal challenges she continues to face despite efforts to heal.
In a heartfelt message shared online, the singer expressed the difficulty of reaching a point in life where she desires to become a mother, only to find that her body is not yet cooperating with her hopes.
“Life is so weird! You wake up one day and you want to have kids and then your body isn’t in position to do it for you just yet, and then you try your best and get it to heal,” she wrote.
Ntale also spoke out against people who question or shame women for not having children, saying such comments can make an already painful experience even more difficult.
She expressed frustration at the assumption that being married automatically means a woman should already have children, adding that some people seem to overlook the personal struggles others may be experiencing.
“While it’s chaos and storms, people still shame you for not having children. People really assume the position of God! Wow! God hold me! Because tonight is exceptionally difficult,” she added.

Following her revelation, fans and fellow entertainers shared messages of encouragement, prayers and comfort as they rallied behind the singer.
Singer A Pass offered words of reassurance, expressing hope that things would eventually work out, while Vivian Tendo prayed that Ntale would one day look back on the difficult moments with tears of joy after seeing her prayers answered.
Other supporters reminded the singer that her worth should not be measured by whether she has children and encouraged her to give herself grace as she navigates her personal journey.
Ntale’s message has also drawn attention to the pressure women can face over motherhood, particularly when people make assumptions about their circumstances without knowing the challenges they may be experiencing.
As messages of support continue to come in, fans are encouraging the singer to focus on her well-being and hold on to hope as she continues through this difficult chapter.
