Bunyoro-Kitara Kingdom Chief Prince Fred Mugenyi Ruchunya has disclosed that King Solomon Gafabusa is unwell and requested prayers for his recovery.
He, however, didn’t reveal the exact illness he is battling at the moment but promised to reveal it when the time is right.
He instead called upon well-wishers, subjects and friends of the Bunyoro-Kitara Kingdom to pray for the King’s recovery.
Meanwhile, Chief Prince Mugenyi also addressed the ongoing leadership situation within the Kingdom, confirming that the tenure of Prime Minister Andrew Byakutaga Ateenyi expired several months ago.
While addressing reporters, he said the kingdom will implement new leadership structural changes in the near future to set the Kingdom in the right direction that it has to take.
