City socialite and businessman Christian Asiimwe a.k.a Don Chris is facing a staggering 350 charges after the State dramatically expanded the case against him.
The latest twist has seen prosecutors add seven fresh files, each containing 50 counts, sending the total number of charges against the businessman soaring to 350.
Don Chris is accused of obtaining money by false pretences, with prosecutors alleging that he took money from victims after claiming he could secure them jobs in Canada through Sky Pins Tours and Travel.
The alleged Canada job scheme has now turned into a major legal headache for the socialite, with hundreds of charges hanging over his head.
According to the prosecution, victims were allegedly convinced to part with their money on the promise of securing employment opportunities abroad.
But Don Chris has denied all the allegations, pleading not guilty to every charge brought against him.
With the charge sheet now running into hundreds of counts, the businessman faces an increasingly serious court battle as the State pursues its case against him.
