Ugandan singer Grace Nakimera has explained the inspiration behind her unusual and dramatic entrance at a press conference ahead of her highly anticipated concert at Kampala Serena Hotel.
Nakimera is set to stage her major concert on September 11, and she used her press conference at the same venue to make a statement that immediately got people talking.
The singer appeared dressed as a person who had been beaten and bloodied, portraying someone who had been flogged by the devil and faced intense challenges but continued pushing forward.
Her dramatic appearance quickly attracted attention from those at the event and sparked conversations online.
Explaining the creative concept behind the entrance, Nakimera said she deliberately wanted to do something different from the usual celebrity press conference approach.
“I don’t like doing ordinary things. I like doing new and fresh things that are exciting, to be creative,” Nakimera explained.
The singer’s symbolic appearance reflected a message of perseverance and continuing to fight through challenges despite difficult circumstances.
