The Office of the Prime Minister of the Tooro Kingdom has issued an official statement regarding the health status of Omukama Oyo Nyimba Rukidi IV.
According to the statement, King Oyo is currently in a critical condition, with the Kingdom calling upon the people of Tooro and the public at large to keep His Majesty in their prayers during this difficult time.
The statement reads:
“OFFICIAL COMMUNICATION. From the Prime Minister’s Office. To all the people of Tooro & the Public, this is to inform you that King Oyo is currently in a critical condition. At this difficult time, we humbly ask the people of Tooro & our friends to keep His Majesty in your prayers.”
The statement issued clears the air on reports making rounds that he had breathed his last from London after losing a cancer battle.
