Rising Ugandan artist Sqoop Larma is already setting his sights on a major career milestone, revealing plans to hold his maiden concert in 2027 following the growing popularity of his trending hit song Temutuloga.
Speaking in an interview, Sqoop Larma said he is ready to work with any promoter willing to take on the project and help turn his concert dream into reality.
While he is open to considering different venues depending on what his team believes he can fill, the singer admitted that Lugogo Cricket Oval remains his personal dream venue.
“I want to hold my maiden concert next year. If any promoter is willing to jump on this, I am ready. I wouldn’t want to limit myself in terms of the venue; it will depend on the team to decide what venue we can fill. I personally have dreamed of filling up Lugogo Cricket Oval.”
Beyond music, Sqoop Larma also hopes to use his growing platform to support street children, saying he understands their struggles because he was once in a similar situation.
The singer said he wants to use the opportunities God has given him to inspire talented children on the streets and help them pursue their dreams.
“I was also saved from the streets and would love to use my talent to inspire and help the street kids. There are many talented kids on the streets that need a push and opportunities.”
With Temutuloga currently gaining attention, Sqoop Larma hopes the momentum will help propel him toward his first major concert and create a platform from which he can give back to the community.
