Socialite and media personality Prima ‘Kardashi’ Nassozi pulled off the unexpected on Sunday morning when she defeated fellow media personality Zahara Totto in a highly publicised and much-anticipated boxing bout at Hamz Stadium.
Prima was declared the winner by split decision after three thrilling rounds, sending her fans into wild celebrations after they turned up in huge numbers to support her in the early hours of Sunday.
However, moments after the verdict was announced, the celebrations took a dramatic turn.

Overcome with excitement, Prima jumped into the air and repeatedly thumped her fists before suddenly collapsing onto the canvas, leaving revellers momentarily worried that she had lost consciousness.
Her team and coaches immediately rushed to her side, creating space around her and fanning her to help her breathe properly.
She was subsequently helped out of the ring and taken to the dressing room, where she regained consciousness.
For Zahara Totto, however, the night ended in disappointment and controversy.
The media personality strongly disagreed with the judges’ decision, insisting that she had been robbed of victory and alleging that the officials had been bribed.
“The judges have been bribed. You have all seen it. You have recorded the content; go and show it to the public.”
Zahara, visibly dissatisfied, later stormed to the Uganda Boxing Federation president Moses Muhangi’s table alongside members of her team to protest the result and express her dissatisfaction.
When asked whether she would consider a rematch with Prima, Zahara quickly dismissed the idea, saying she had more important things to focus on.
“I don’t have time with those idiots for a rematch. I’ve got a lot of things to do.”
One of Zahara’s team members and coaches also contested the outcome, claiming that Zahara had won two of the three rounds.
The coach, however, called for a rematch between the two personalities, arguing that another bout would give both camps an opportunity to settle their grievances in the ring and determine the true winner without controversy.
