Media personality Sheilah Gashumba has revealed that she is now open to marriage and motherhood, marking a major shift from her earlier views about relationships and starting a family.
Speaking during a YouTube interview, Sheilah said meeting her boyfriend, Alex Bidandi, changed her perspective, describing him as focused, hardworking and serious about his future.
Sheilah revealed that Alex has also earned the approval of her family, particularly her father, Frank Gashumba, who she said now welcomes him into their home.
“Alex is the only man who has successfully entered my Dad’s gate. Not once, not twice. Alex enters the house and my Dad comes from upstairs to greet him. Alex is a guy who is very focused and hardworking,” she said.
The media personality also credited Alex with influencing the way she approaches money, saying he encouraged her to become more financially disciplined and think more seriously about investments and long-term financial planning.
According to Sheilah, their relationship is being approached with seriousness, with both families expected to conduct background checks before any formal marriage plans are made.
“I told him my Dad will do research on him, from the time he was born up to adulthood, and even his parents will do a background check on me,” she added.
Sheilah’s comments have sparked excitement among her fans, many of whom have followed her public relationship journey over the years.
Her willingness to speak openly about marriage and children suggests that she is now looking at the relationship with Alex from a more serious, long-term perspective.
