Ghanaian songstress Wendy Shay Asiamah Addo alias Wendy Shay wants to extend a helping hand to the less privileged individuals in her home country.
The singer opened up about her long-held desire to construct a hospital and an orphanage home from the money she earns from her music career.
Wendy Shay is a nurse by profession, she also trained as a midwife but she chose to ditch the career she graduated in to focus on doing music since she is making lots of money out of her career.
She adds that her dream to do bigger things pushes her to do more and work hard on a daily basis.

Recently while in an interview, Wendy disclosed that there is so much money in music adding that with the money she makes from her streams alone, she wouldn’t make it if she was still a nurse or midwife.
“There is so much money in music…Because of the money I am making now just even from my streams alone, I couldn’t have made it.
And I want to do big things…The things I want to do in my life, build a hospital, orphanages one day, in order for me to do it, I have to do music,” Wendy Shay.
Wendy Shay entered the musical scene in a turbulent time and her grit and resilience over the years have manifested in her delivery of relatable hit songs.
This has continued to prove to her critics that she is a generous woman who cares about the less privileged.
