Veteran recording and performing artist Kid Fox has opened up about why he delayed starting a family, revealing that financial struggles kept him from having children for years.
The singer explained that he always wanted to become a father when he was financially stable enough to give his children a comfortable life, rather than bringing them into the world while he was still struggling.
According to Kid Fox, he hoped to first overcome his financial challenges before settling down and starting a family. However, as the years passed, the money he had hoped to accumulate never came.
“I wanted to start a family when I’m financially stable. I didn’t want to give birth and my kids struggle with life. Unfortunately, time ran when money had failed to accumulate. So that was my story,” he said.
Despite not reaching the level of financial stability he had envisioned, Kid Fox now says he is ready to take his chances and start a family regardless of his financial situation.
“Even if I don’t have money now, I will just take shots to give birth,” he added.
The singer also opened up about the kind of woman he hopes to settle down with, making it clear that physical attraction and age are among his priorities.
“I want a girl aged between 20 and 35. But the first priority goes to those in their 20s. I want a woman with a good sexy body and a pretty face—and young,” he said.
Kid Fox, however, said he would not completely rule out dating a single mother, provided she meets his expectations and is financially independent.
“If a single mother is beautiful and stable, we can make a match. Additionally, if she is financially stable and won’t burden me, especially if she is ready to support me, we can survive and stay together,” he said.
